Just You and I.

This is one I wrote a number of years ago when I was a member of a poetry forum. They used to have regular challenges and the members would try to frame a poem around a given idea or specific lines. In this case the lines that had to appear in the poem were "Just you and I" and "Inseperable from nature". One of those two lines had to appear in every verse/stanza of the poem. This was my effort and I am actually quite proud of it because I think it speaks volumes about how I feel about the love of my life, Maureen.

I remember this one dear friend!

You write, with such heartfelt feelings.

I particularly like the fourth verse that ends do I still catch your eye?

Ones eyes are the windows to the soul, look deep enough and you can see right inside it.

This poem brims with love and pride, and you should be proud of it.

The framing and back drop is just perfect and of course the eagefeather gives the finishing touch.
