Sorry Folks

Sorry I have not been around, we have had no internet for 24hrs as one of the masts providing our service went down.

All back to normal now, was I missed?

Mmmm now which way to answer this or just head for cover when I say no.

Actually yesterday by the late afternoon I was feeling rather naff so switched off my computer, and went and chilled out. But have to say though Skye it really is a right pain when the internet goes down, and glad it has been sorted. Because yes I would have started to panic after a while if I hadn't seen either you or Fagin posting. I might get very lonely and sad on my own.

Wicked Woman You !

Its still flaky but we can just about get a connection the engineers are working on it.

We are limited to what we can get here on the island, so it makes life hard when the connection suddenly goes.

I see quite a few are popping in, but I know what you mean about talking to yourself.

Fagin & I have been talking to just each other on here for weeks.

A bit odd really when we live in the same house and need to log on to reply

I am hoping things will pick up, then we will wish that it was quiet again no doubt!

Yes must seem a bit funny, but then the more you post the more the bots pick up the new postings. I am hoping to get the forum added to a monthly newsletter so fingers crossed to picking up some more peeps. Have let another friend know and she will be looking in at some stage.

Apologies again, my Son who was due to fly home yesterday is grounded because of the volcanic ash problem. In addition our connection has been playing up.

We are on standby waiting to get him home on the next available flight.

He should be back at school today too. I am running out of things to keep him busy, not easy with a 14 year old away from his bits and pieces mates etc.

Fingers crossed for you, I see from the news this morning that some flights hope to go out later on. A case of wait and see by the sound of it. As you say quiet at the moment, but lets keep trying and I am sure at some stage the forum will take off.

Yes its all a bit iffy still.

He has connecting flights in and out of Glasgow to Bristol, so we have to make sure that he can get all the way, not just part way.

I do hope that the forum picks up, it takes time and we will be able to devote more to it shortly.

Sorry to hear that Fagin isn't well and that your Son can't get back home Skye. It must be really difficult for you to find things to occupy him. (((((hugs))))). x

Thank you everyone. to be honest I just want to keep him now. We have all got used to being together, even he was a bit tearful this morning when I told him it was likely his flight may go.

Bless his cotton socks, he has been an absolute pleasure.

We found a massive fishing buoy on the beach the other day and turned it into a space hopper anyone remember them?

Service back to normal now Guys, my little one got his flights yesterday and arrived home about 10.30 last night.

Empty isn't the word for how I am feeling, but what a wonderful time we had, the laughs the giggles, the tears.
