Homemade Kite that Flies Empty
PostSubject: Homemade Kite that Flies   Homemade Kite that Flies EmptyFri Apr 09, 2010 3:59 am

I am trying to entertain my 14 year old with out door activities whilst he is staying with us until the 15th.

So far I have knocked up a cricket bat out of a plank of wood and used the wheelie bin as a wicket! I have never seen him giggle so much Smile

I would like to try and make a kite that flies! Anyone got any handy tips?

I think I have bamboo canes, and lots of material which is a start I guess Homemade Kite that Flies Lol

Any help much appreciated. Smile

Excellent Anne, thank you.

The link works fine, I would normally research it myself but have very little time to do so at the moment.

Yes that is very true, I will collapse in a heap after he has gone!

I have managed to make one kite that didn't quite get the "awesome" comment but it wasn't a failure, Smile

Will have another go today as its ideal kite flying weather and I feel like a child again, pity I have not got the body to go with it Sad
