Has anyone tried working with fimo, or polymer clay at all.

I am new to it, and wondered if anyone else has had a go?

My daughter used to use the fimo one and it was really good. She would make something then pop it into the oven to harden it off. Last time I worked with clay was years ago, to be honest I found it hard going so never continued.

Hi Tricia,

I am enjoying it, but not too keen in baking it in my kitchen oven.

I would like to get a little toaster oven, but I can't find one that has a low setting, it needs to be around 110c otherwise it will burn.

Trouble is living here, as beautiful as it is, I can't pop down to Argos.

I would suggest what we used to do in the WRVS but trouble is you cant regulate the temperature very well. We used to dig a hole, then put the item into baking foil or suitable sealed container, then pop suitable burning material in and let it cook away. But as I say that is all well and good but it was rather hit and miss with temperatures. Perhaps there might be something on the internet that will tell you how to make a suitable 'oven'. I have seen so many of these 'ovens' on the tv programs when they are making charcoal etc.
