| I have popped this one in here for you all to share, but feel if it is required we should have a forum for photography. Enjoy! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Great pic Skye.
I made the Graphics Forum for the likes of this but can make a photography forum if it is wanted. Perhaps I will put a poll up when we get a few more members. Of course we would need a mod who knows the topic well!

| Fair Doos Captain, I think it could be popular though with a restriction on size so we don't slow the board down etc. Glad you like it. | |

| My young son is doing photography at the local college. He is hoping to go on to do the National Diploma course in September, so we have fingers crossed. He will be 30 at the end of the month, and did the photography course when he got made redundant last year. Have added the photos from the photobucket link rather than post the full photos on to the forum. I find a lot of forums prefer it this way. Just click on the photo and it will take you direct to my photobucket. This is the one that had to depict a shakespeare quote, and is part of his exam piece. The original is now showing in the foyer of the college. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]This is one of his fashion photoshoots that he also had to do. | Hi Tricia, Thank you so much for giving us the link to your son's talented work. The pictures are amazing, the colours really pop. I will keep my fingers crossed for his success in doing his Diploma in September. Skye | |

| Nice work from him Tricia.
If you don't mind comments, the first picture has great shading and silhouette work but the rose looks a bit disconnected. Perhaps a softening of the edges would draw it into the picture.
Great work though for a non professional artist. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Sorry forgot to say that the quote had to be done as a film noir. Although I am in to photography and also my dear late father was a photographer, today's way of doing things has left me way behind. His main piece of photography for the end of the year exam has to be something equally as weird, well in my opinion that is. The set piece is to be based on the beginning of life through to the end. Ideas being for instance a boiled egg cracked open then photographed over a series of days to show the egg shrivelling, or a piece of bread starting to go stale and developing mould. So my son is taking a dropping clock projected on to a face.!! Now if anyone can see the idea behind that well done, I am still trying to get my head around it. But his tutors think this is a brilliant idea. I am definately getting old. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Tricia | |
