| Don't forget everyone about Warm Front. Give them a ring if you need to have your loft insulated better than it is, also cavity wall insulation. They will also assist in replacing heating, two years ago I had my gas boiler replaced, thermostats put on the radiators, plus had them flushed through. Had cavity wall insulation done and extra loft insulation and all I had to find was less than a £100 because all the work came within the budget that Warm Front set.
So do a google of Warm Front and if you need any of those things doing and you qualify then do give them a ring.

| Thanks Tricia, they do tend to cater more for the elderly and people with families but a handy thing to know about I agree. | |

| Have just dealt with a client today who is single aged 45 and on DLA, she has just had central heating put in, cavity wall to be sorted and two front windows double glazed. The double glazing one was a newbie on me, but they did it for her. All I have been asked to assist with is redecorating and new carpets. Not sure about the redecorating as to be honest the carpets are the priority. But as a young ex servicewoman I will move heaven and earth to assist her.

| Is warm front for those in certain areas on the mainland Tricia? I have a feeling it may not be available to certain areas of the UK. Skye | |

| Warm Front is available to those in the UK and home owners or rented. Wales, Scotland and Ireland have their own equivalent. Wales is called the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme www.heeswales.co.uk/ Scotland. The name given for Scotland is Scottish Government Warm Deal Grant. Contact is through Energy Efficiency Advice Centre. I also have this website address as well which is the Energy Saving trust - www.energysavingtrust.org.uk or this freephone number of 0800 512 012. Northern Ireland visit www.uk-energy-saving.com/warm_homes_scheme.html their scheme is called Warm Homes Scheme. freephone 0800 988 0559 Hope the above details will help people in those areas besides the UK. | I have a lot of information that I use due to my background as a caseworker for SSAFA and Royal British Legion. Hopefully what I know or come across may well be of assistance to others.
